Our Commitment to Accessibility

Smokey and the Brisket is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We believe everyone deserves equal access to information and functionality, and we are continually improving the user experience for everyone by applying the relevant accessibility standards to www.smokeyandthebrisketsd.com (the “Site”).

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Ensuring the Site can be navigated using a keyboard and assistive technologies;
Using clear, consistent navigation, headings, and link text;
Labeling form fields and providing accessible error messages;
Designing responsive layouts that adapt to different devices and zoom levels;
Offering an on-page accessibility toolbar that lets visitors adjust text size, contrast, spacing, and other display settings;
Reviewing accessibility as part of our ongoing site maintenance.

Please note that an accessibility toolbar is an assistive aid, not a substitute for accessible design. We continue to remediate the underlying Site itself rather than relying on the toolbar alone.
